Client Brief

The client moved to Dubai in 2021 with a dream of transforming their penthouse at Tiara Residences into a vibrant, luxurious, and personal space for entertaining and memory-making. The vision centered on turning the expansive terrace into an inviting venue for socializing with business associates, family, and friends—while enhancing the interiors to feel sophisticated, warm, and functional. 

SCOPE OF SPACE

This project included the transformation of both the penthouse interior and its stunning terrace. Key areas addressed were the entrance wall, TV lounge feature wall, dining area, custom-built bar, and the full-length terrace that faces the iconic Palm Jumeirah view. All furniture, bar elements, and fireline tables were crafted at Milestone’s carpentry factory in Al Quoz.

THEME & DESIGN ASPECTS

The design theme embraced elegant minimalism blended with artistic flair. Custom floral installations, large-format porcelain panels, and ambient lighting set a warm, celebratory tone. Practicality was balanced with sophistication: each area was designed to serve a function while adding to the overall ambiance of the penthouse.

DESIGN CHALLENGES

Designing a multifunctional terrace that could host large gatherings while maintaining intimacy was a key challenge. Additionally, optimizing wall spaces inside the apartment without overwhelming the openness of the penthouse required precise material selection and craftsmanship. Every element had to reflect luxury, ease of use, and memory-making potential.

MAIN FEATURES & DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS

• A handmade floral photo wall at the entrance—crafted by Sejal—to welcome guests and spark joyful moments
• Custom TV wall with large-format porcelain panels and shelving for frames and collectibles
• A user-friendly, compact bar with Tekka wine cooler and built-in fridge, finished with sleek cabinetry
• Dining space enhanced with ceiling lights and a Milestone-made 14-seater table
• Fireline tables designed in-house using porcelain-clad wood—both glamorous and sustainable
• Large terrace softened with lighting and greenery, designed for hosting with style and ease

OUTDOOR DESIGN

The terrace is the crown jewel of this penthouse. With unobstructed views of the Arabian Gulf and the skyline, the layout centers around entertaining. The large fireline tables, 14-seater dining table, and easy-access bar create the perfect flow for day-to-night gatherings. Layered lighting and plants add a touch of serenity and elegance, making this terrace a true modern oasis.
