Amrita and Gaurav, a refined couple with a strong appreciation for design, came to Milestone with a dream of transforming their newly acquired villa in Golf Place into a Country Modern sanctuary. Their vision was clear to create a home that combined the rustic warmth of country aesthetics with the simplicity and sophistication of modern design. They wanted a space that would reflect their personality, showcase cherished travel artifacts, and feel both luxurious and practical for daily family life

The 8,075 sq. ft. villa offered expansive indoor and outdoor areas with high ceilings, natural light, and great architectural bones. Milestone’s scope included full interior redesign—living areas, bedrooms, kitchen, staircase, and integrated cabinetry—as well as outdoor landscaping, including an overflow pool, BBQ/bar area, and a waterproof pergola designed for year-round use.
Theme & design aspects
The overarching design followed the Country Modern theme—rustic, elegant, and thoughtfully detailed. Milestone introduced white wainscoting, rattan textures, floral colonial wallpaper, and warm wood rafters. The color palette featured earthy rusts, deep greens, beiges, and warm neutrals to evoke comfort and natural charm. Each space was designed to flow seamlessly while showcasing bespoke furniture, hand-selected finishes, and curated artworks.
dESIGN CHALLENGES
Integrating the clients’ existing furniture and artwork into a cohesive design posed a unique challenge. Each piece held sentimental value and had to blend naturally with the new material palette. Timeline was another constraint, with approvals from Emaar and DDA required before execution. Despite these hurdles, the transformation was delivered within six months.

OUTDOOR DESIGN
The outdoor area features an 8m x 3.5m overflow pool with water feature, surrounded by thoughtful lighting and hardscape. A bar and BBQ station under a waterproof pergola provides space for all-weather entertaining. The outdoor design maintains harmony with the interior aesthetic while offering a refreshing escape for relaxation and social gatherings.

The result is a home that surpasses expectations—inviting, artful, and highly functional. The clients frequently entertain and take great pride in their transformed villa, which has become a space for celebration, comfort, and lasting memories.
