The client approached Milestone to completely reimagine the outdoor area of a large Palm Jumeirah villa, aiming to create an elegant, spacious, and functional environment suitable for frequent hosting. The brief was to create a design that balanced grandeur with simplicity, offering both expansive social areas and peaceful, low-maintenance zones. A modern lap pool, pergolas, and lighting enhancements were key elements of the vision.

Amit, a senior corporate executive, enjoys hosting large gatherings and entertaining guests in a stylish, comfortable setting. The family values clean design, privacy, and functionality. Their vision was to have an outdoor space that reflects luxury, but is practical and timeless—suited for evening parties, casual barbecues, and tranquil weekend relaxation.

Design PHILOSOPHY & EXECUTION

The design approach emphasized clean geometry, expansive hardscape for gatherings, and subtle textures that enhance the villa’s modern façade. Materials were chosen for durability and aesthetics, keeping in mind the waterfront humidity and long-term use. Soft neutral tones were combined with deep accents in wood and stone, blending contemporary elegance with comfort. Lighting was treated as a sculptural feature, adding both function and atmosphere.

The client was extremely pleased with the transformation, calling it a ‘hotel-like retreat in the heart of Palm Jumeirah.’ The clean lines, luxurious finishes, and thoughtful lighting received praise from both friends and visitors. The villa became a favorite gathering spot among their network, and the client has since referred multiple friends to Milestone.
